Gaurs Model United Nations (Gaurs MUN) at Gaurs International School, Greater Noida West, is an intellectually enriching platform designed to engage students in meaningful discussions on critical global and national issues. With eight dynamic committees, the conference delves into pressing agendas such as global peace, security, economic crises, human rights, and environmental challenges. Empowering affected communities and ensuring access to justice are key steps toward creating a more inclusive and equitable society.
UNGA-DISEC (United Nation General Assembly)
Deliberating on advancing the strengthening of nuclear safeguards and verification mechanisms for enhanced global security. Strengthening nuclear safeguards and verification mechanisms is essential for enhanced global security. It involves improving international frameworks to prevent nuclear proliferation, ensuring compliance with treaties like the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), and promoting transparency in nuclear activities. Robust verification systems, such as those by the IAEA, are critical for detecting violations, fostering trust among nations, and reducing the risk of nuclear weapons development or misuse.
